Allô Téta Allô Jedo Joudy Hilal

Films A to Z

Joudy is a young Syrian woman who came to Canada in 2001. Her grandfather Basil (Jedo in Arabic) moved to Montreal in 1996. Since he acquired a smart mobile phone, communications between Joudy and her grandparents have completely changed. This autobiographical documentary follows Joudy's journey, using videos from his mobile phone. The little girl, using the videos from her smartphone, gives her grandparents, who rarely leave the house, a glimpse of Montreal.
