The creators and producers of two XR works in progress share the lessons they’ve learned from the process – their secrets, strategies, mistakes and solutions. XR creators need to think about production and distribution strategies that are constantly shifting. How do you drive a documentary narrative in fascinating new directions? How do you redefine (again) the user’s position? How do the space and environment define XR documentary stories? What is the shelf life of such projects? What are the production and distribution challenges particular to the time of COVID? Is co-production the answer to all these questions?
