European coproduction incentives with Eurimages

Activities and Events

This session will invite Eurimages and Telefilm to meet with the doc community to look past the introductions and dig into the real significance of this fund for future co-production possibilities between Canada and Europe. Our entry point into the discussion will be 1999, the first Canadian doc project accepted into the fund, but will mainly engage with producers in the audience, past and future applicants looking at how aspects of financing, format and content can make a project more or less eligible and successful. It will also look at the advantages and challenges presented by combining this kind of financing in a project's financial structure and workflow.
