Opening breakfast : Catherine Tait in conversation with Monique Simard

Catherine Tait, president and CEO of CBC/Radio-Canada, in conversation with Monique Simard, Founding member of the RIDM, President of the board for the Fonds Québecor.

In July 2018, Catherine Tait began a five-year term as the president and CEO of CBC/Radio-Canada. This experienced entrepreneur, producer, cultural attache? and former policy chief at Telefilm – to list just a few of her important positions – has worked in the film industry for more than 30 years. She joins Monique Simard, past president and CEO of SODEC, past executive director of the NFB’s French-language program, prolific producer, key figure in Quebec cinema and a long-time champion of producers, for a conversation about the state of CBC/Radio Canada and her vision for the future. These two exceptional women, both among our industry’s leading experts, will launch Doc Circuit Montre?al’s three days of programming with an insightful discussion.

Doors will open at 8:30 am.
