Dialogue(s) Philippe David Gagné

Film index A to Z

That feeling in your guts when you put a fighter jet into a sharp turn. The rumble of a new engine just installed in a car. The layering of instruments gradually building up into a full-bore metal song. These are the things two aviators, two passionate mechanics and the members of a band discuss among themselves. We hear snippets of their conversations and see them in soft, beautiful black and white, its shadow and light accentuated by meticulous composition. A short, deadpan essay, laden with more meaning than some features that run for hours, Dialogue(s) by Philippe David Gagné (Bleu Tonnerre) makes language its subject, casting an amused and amusing gaze on the essence of man talk.
