What is the image of rurality and the Quebec territory conveyed by documentaries? Is it a fair representation of reality?
Filmmakers and producers from across Quebec will be invited to discuss their perception of the land, and reflect on how it affects their works. They will explain the real impact of rurality on creation, production, exhibition and distribution for documentary professionals.
They will also discuss how institutions, funding bodies and exhibitors have a real impact on our way of seeing and consuming films with rural or territorial themes.
