Podcast Workshop: Radiophonic Documentary

Activities and Events

Podcasting opens many possibilities for documentary work, particularly in alliances between voices, soundscapes and musicality. The purpose of this workshop is to reflect on the documentary potential of an audio medium characterized by singular and original ways of telling stories and framing reality. The workshop invites participants to rethink the handling of stories and subjects, while opening the way to a reflection on how the medium makes it possible to push certain boundaries. By enhancing anonymity and discretion, audio makes it possible to venture into places the visual documentary cannot go. That is why the audio documentary allows us to tell stories differently, while also highlighting realities that cannot be expressed by other means. Advance registration required.
